Registered Office address of the company means that where all the operations, management decisions and all other matters are made. As per Section 21, it is mandatory for all companies to have a registered office address.
Address options during company registration
When a company is incorporated, it is mandatory to provide an office location.
This address will be either the registered office address or the correspondence address which will be used for communication and correspondence.
However, according to the law, the company is required to inform the SECP of its registered office location within 30 days of incorporation.

- However, if you want to hurry, the meeting can be called even before 21 days, but for this, the prior consent of all the members is necessary.

Additional fee formula:
If the application is filed within 15 days – No additional fee
Filed within 15 to 90 days – Double
Filed within 90 to 180 days – Three times
After one year → Four times
After two years → Five times
Example: The current fee is Rs. 1,210. If the form is filed within 90 days, the fee will be Rs. 2,420
Solution In Case of Late Filing of Forms
The difference between the filing date of the form and the date of the change of address should not be more than 15 days.
For Example If the business pr has changed on January 10, 2026 and you are filing the application on March 15, 2026, then enter the Date of Change in the form as March 5, 2026 instead of January 10.
Then attach all the documents, board resolution, and special resolution as per the same date.
This method can avoid paying additional fees.
It is better to try to file the form within 15 days, but if there is a delay, this method can be adopted.
